Quality Statement
Wongaburra is committed to continuous quality improvement and adheres to aged care quality standards and best practice guidelines. We actively encourage feedback from our residents, clients and families, involving them in the design of our services and quality improvement initiatives.
Our collaborative approach welcomes contributions from all members of our team, including volunteers, who play a vital role in enhancing the quality of care we provide. Staff and volunteers are encouraged to share ideas for improvement and actively participate in quality activities, including attending service improvement meetings and completing continuous quality improvement forms. The Board and Management provide all necessary resources to support these ongoing advancements in quality and care.
Quality Statement
Community-Driven Care: Wongaburra Society is a non-denominational, non-affiliated organisation led by community members dedicated to supporting people in our community to live independently and age well.
Accountability and Responsibility: We uphold accountability to our clients, staff, and Federal and State Government departments, ensuring our services meet the highest standards of care and governance.
Dignity and Empowerment: We respect the rights of all individuals, encouraging them to make their own decisions whenever possible and supporting their involvement in family and community life within their abilities.
Inclusive Community and Family Engagement: We value community and family involvement in service provision, fostering connections that enhance quality of life.
